Bessa Valley is a classic French chateau-type cellar, where the winery itself is located in the heart of the vineyard. The vineyard is located in the exclusive Valley of the Besis (a Thracian tribe that inhabited these lands thousands of years ago), near the village of Ognyanovo, Pazardzhik region, and has spread over 250 hectares.

The project started in 2001 with the purchase of the first vineyards in Ognyanovo by the French Count Stephan von Neipperg, a prominent winemaker from Bordeaux, together with his partners. From the very beginning, only French barrels of the barrique type were used, and another great name in French wine, Mark Dworkin, was the project’s consultant.

The Domaine Bessa Valley wines are mainly under the brand name Enira (Merlot, Cabernet, Duo, Reserva, and Grande Cuvee BV), but also Selection von Neipperg, as well as the emblem of the winery, the magnificent BV Syrah by Enira.
