One of the most complex single malts with layers of sweet floral aromas, wood smoke, riparian herbs, vanilla, and cereals.
The Cragganmore Distillery was founded in Ballindalloch, Speyside, in 1869 by the “great” John Smith, a well-experienced distiller. It is also the first distillery to benefit from the rail transport system. The name comes from the Celtic “graggan mor”, which means “big or big rock”. There is an abundance of spring water in the area. The distillery uses unique flat-topped cauldrons to deliver complex flavors and aromas.
