Tanqueray is a gin created back in 1830 by Charles Tanqueray. Number 10 in the name comes from the small copper cauldron with number 10, in which the fourfold distillation of this drink takes place. This is the only gin in whose distillation is used fresh citrus fruits in addition to juniper and other herbs. For this reason, Tanqueray No. 10 has a soft and fresh taste.
