TERRAZAS DE LOS ANDES Fine mountain wines crafted where the earth meets the sky

Terrazas de los Andes is the utopian project of French pioneers aimed at transforming the wine industry in Argentina and producing world-class wines.

The winery was founded by a French winemaker who embarked on a journey that redefined winemaking in Argentina. The vineyards are located in the most famous and prestigious areas of Mendoza, from Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley, each at its optimal altitude. In Mendoza, only 15% of the vineyards are grown above 1000 meters, in cooler climates. Terrazas owns the highest vineyard in the region, El Espinillo, located at 1630 meters above sea level.

Terrazas de los Andes is one of the most awarded wineries in Argentina—with more than 150 awards, including 90+ points for its wines. In 2018, IWSC (International Wine & Spirits Challenge) named Terrazas de los Andes the Argentine Winemaker of the Year.

The iconic variety for the winery is Malbec. Terrazas Malbec is made from the estate’s signature terroirs and reflects the characteristic winemaking style of Terrazas. The grapes from each vineyard offer unique aromas that reflect the specific altitude and soil— a multi-layered and complex expression of Mendoza’s terroirs.

Terrazas Torrontés is a wine born from the desire to showcase the diversity and uniqueness of Argentina’s terroirs to the world. This grape variety is native and cultivated in Argentina, grown in the extreme nature of Cafayate, Salta, the most famous region for this type of grape, located at 1600 meters above sea level.
